Behind the Quill

Welcome to Ink & Archive

Welcome.

If you’re reading this, you’ve found Ink & Archive, the official blog of Tales of Khassid.

This is where I’ll share the journey behind building Khassid—not just the finished world you’ll explore, but the ideas, challenges, victories, and occasional frustrations that come with creating it. Here you’ll find development updates, worldbuilding articles, excerpts from the Aelorian Archives, design discussions, previews of new content, and the stories behind the stories.

Tales of Khassid has been years in the making. It’s a living fantasy setting filled with gods, kingdoms, monsters, magic, heroes, and histories that continue to grow with every new idea. While the main website serves as the library of the world itself, Ink & Archive is the place where I’ll pull back the curtain and let you watch that library being built.

People often ask how frequently I’ll publish here.

The honest answer is: as often as I can.

Like most creators, I’m balancing this project with work, life, my dog Jericho—who firmly believes every writing session should include a walk, treats and heavily demanded rub sessions—and everything else that comes with building something from the ground up. Beyond the writing itself, there’s website development, marketing, editing, design, research, and the countless little tasks that somehow appear every day.

I can’t promise a rigid publishing schedule.

What I can promise is that I’m making this a habit.

My goal is to make Ink & Archive a place worth returning to, whether it’s for a new article about the pantheons, a glimpse into the world’s history, a design diary, or simply an update on where the project is headed. Every post is another page added to the story of Khassid.

Thank you for stopping by. Whether you’re here to follow the development of the setting, borrow ideas for your own table, or simply enjoy a good fantasy world, I’m glad you’re here.

There’s a great deal yet to uncover.

Welcome to the archives.
